Waxing Questions, Answered
Does it hurt?
Less than you think. We use premium hard wax designed for sensitive skin, work quickly, and talk you through every step. Most first-timers say the anticipation was worse than the wax.
How do I prepare for a wax?
- You can wax on your period — a tampon or cup is fine.
- Exfoliate a few days before — dead skin traps hair underneath.
- Wear loose clothing to your appointment to avoid irritation.
- Hair should be at least a grain of rice long (2–3 weeks of growth).
- Take an ibuprofen 30 minutes before, if needed.
How long until I need to come back?
Most clients rebook every 4–6 weeks. Hair needs about 2–3 weeks of growth for the wax to grip properly — the longer you stay consistent, the sparser and softer regrowth becomes.
